When you say my name

Why the hell is a box of celery so fucking heavy? Jezuz.

Monday after closing. Sigh.

I wish I could've recorded parts of Thursday night's rehearsal, because it was a speed-through, and it was actually pretty funny.
A group of us (mainly the youngins plus Jill) went to Bubba's for dinner afterword. All the girls sat on one end of the table, and all the boys on the other, and the boy's end was pretty quiet, aside from either Joe or Kit actually trying to make conversation.
Joe folded an elephant out of a dollar, and I made a crane, and now they're on an adventure somewhere.

Friday night's performance was ok, but we had a really small audience, and the space is just horrible (right on the road), and it started to rain at the beginning of the second half.
After, a bunch of us went to JD's(?), which is where Roma's used to be, and it's open 24 hours. Hello new Clock.
We were there until at least midnight, and then went to Margaret's to play Trivial Pursuit.
Honestly, I really don't like that game, unless it's the Disney version.
Eventually it started to rain, and we regrouped inside, when a question came up that read:
"In which Brothers Grimm fairytale does the sea-witch cut out the main character's tongue?"
That's not verbatim, but that's not the point. The answer was The Little Mermaid, of course, but The Little Mermaid was written by HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN. We ended up getting into an argument about who wrote it, and I was just like 'srsly. Do not question me and my Little Mermaid knowledge, ok betch?'

Then Saturday.
The show went well, though Margaret and I had an extra kiss because
Jill didn't stop us soon enough. ...and I can't really remember that much else about the performance.
Party at Lauren's after; played some Wii tennis, ate pizza, and looked at the pics and vids Cole took of the performance. Kit and Chelsea began getting a bit cuddly at this point.
The over-21s went for an alcohol run, and then we all ended up relocating to West End Beach and played I Never, which I'm really not good at winning anymore. Also found out quite a few things about everyone else there, huhu.
After taking a little break and noticing that there was a bike-cop lingering, we relocated again to Jeanette's house.
Chris and Lee made a fire, Kit and Chelsea got über cuddly, and then I started drinking. We dropped our cars off at Sar's before heading to Jeanette's, and so Joe was the dd.
I wasn't sure that I actually wanted to drink any because I wasn't in the best mood, and I was afraid that I might start thinking about Ian and start sobbing, which would've been so awkward for everyone else.
But I gave in, and got really drunk really fast. Mainly because Kit made me a super strong drink, and I downed it in like 10 minutes.
I was sort of swaying back and forth with silly drunken grin on my face, and eventually I just plopped into Joe's lap. At one point I fell off, I don't know how, but he picked me back up so my head was resting on his leg.
We left a little while later, and Joe had to help me walk to the car because I couldn't do it by myself.
Yeah. Drunkest yet.
I called D and sent a text to Da (and to Karl, actually) on the way back to Sara's, and started singing Defying Gravity in Japanese in the car.
I stumbled around a little after we got back to Sar's, then I think I hugged only Joe and went upstairs(which was a bit difficult) and went to bed.
Woke up a few times to find no one next to me, which was a little odd.

Sundaaay.
I woke up and still felt a teensy tipsy.
I was quick to take a shower and make myself some food, because the girls and moi were all supposed to go to Margaret's to bake all afternoon. ...pretty sure no one was there until 2, so not much baking/cooking actually happened. Chelsea and I (and Paulette, obvi) entertained the others while they made things.
I looked at Paulette's Secret Garden score because I wanted to sing "How Could I Ever Know", and then she remembered that she had a recording of that show with Da and Matty in it at OTP, and we popped it in and watched them sing "Lily's Eyes", and it was pretty incredible. After it was done, I said, "That's my dad."
We started putting on our faces after that, and then Chelsea spilled about what happened/is sort of happening.

Showtime.
Margaret was on fucking fire. The majority of us were. Kit was pretty damned good, and has certainly grown a lot. Tom seemed to actually know all of his lines this time, Scott still not solid, and a little jumpy/paraphrasy.
Joe and I had good energy, Sar and Joe had good chemistry, as always.
And yeah. Go team go.
Before I went on, I thought "I wonder if Da actually came back up just to see the closing show..."
And I played like he was there.

I'm disappointed that a lot people I really wanted to see it, didn't.
Like D.
Mike said he was coming, and never showed. None of my tc friends aside from Taylor came.

Food and swimming at Margaret's for the cast party, and a lot of sauna.
After everyone else was gone, it was basically just the youngins left, and everyone was getting ready to play more Trivial Pursuit and changing out of their bathing suits, when Paulette wanted me to sing "Suddenly Seymour", so everyone gathered around (this was at like midnight), and Margaret and I sang it together. Joe sang "Stars" from Les Miz after us, and he was so fucking amazing. I mean, I'd heard him sing before, obviously, but not like THAT.
It was beautiful.
We all sang a few other tunes, and then I hugged people and went home.

And NOW I'm at Sara's, waiting for Joe to get here so we can dye her hair and watch some more Slings & Arrows.
Montyfuntime.

I need to get as much of it in as I can now, because I'm going to be seriously lacking in four weeks.
Another person to miss, and more to long for while I'm away.
